day-by-day ITINERARY

Day 1: THURSDAY, FEB. 15

Arrive to Lima’s International Airport, be greeted by our team, and enjoy the ride to your hotel in private transportation.

1) Arrival to Lima

Our team will welcome you and transfer you to your hotel.

2) Hotel check-in

Our team will assist you with check-in at the sexy and strategically-located Aloft Hotel in Miraflores.

DAY 2: FRIDAY, FEB. 16

Farmers market shopping, exotic fruit tasting, hands-on cooking class of Peruvian staples and a 4-course lunch. At night, dinner at the World’s Best Restaurant: Central.

1) Surquillo Market

We’ll start the day shopping for our cooking class.

2) Peruvian fruits

Enjoy 35+ exotic fruits grown in Peru.

3) Private cooking class

Learn how to master Peru’s 3 most iconic dishes.

4) Dinner at Central

Experience an unforgettable 12-course dinner at the World’s Best Restaurant.

DAY 3: SATURDAY, FEB. 17

Full day tour of Lima’s Old Town, including 3 guided visits and lunch at Cafe Larco. End the day with a Japanese-influenced dinner at the luxurious Costanera 700.

1) Old Town Lima

See Lima’s Main Square and Government Palace, plus guided visits to the Cathedral and Casa Aliaga.

2) Larco Museum

Guided visit to the exhibits, including its famous collection of pre-Colombian erotic ceramic. Lunch at the popular Museum’s Cafe.

3) Street food stop at Picarones Mary

Mid-afternoon we’ll stop for a snack to enjoy these delicious and popular sweet treats.

4) Dinner at Costanera 700

Enjoy the luxurious fusion of Japanese and Peruvian cuisines.

5) Visit to Barranco District (optional)

After dinner, visit this trendy neighborhood to see the bohemian side of Lima’s nightlife.

DAY 4: SUNDAY, FEB. 18

On our last day, your 2 gastronomic experiences will consist of tavern, family-style everyday Peruvian dishes and the famous Peruvian “chifa” for dinner.

1) Lunch at Isolina tavern

Family-style meal, just like Peruvian grandmas make it.

2) Dinner at Hou Wha

Popular venue to enjoy the “chifa” tradition with this famous Chinese-Peruvian cuisine.

3) Flight back home

Our team will transfer you to Lima’s airport for your flight back home.

1) DINNER AT CENTRAL: the #1 restaurant in the world in 2023. You will enjoy a 12-course meal representing 12 different Peruvian ecosystems (valued at aprox. US$400); see menu HERE. For an additional fee (aprox. between US$96 and $180 per person) the group can opt in for pairing with non alcoholic and/or South American fermented and distilled spirits and wines for each course.*

2) DINNER AT COSTANERA 700: a luxurious Japanese-Peruvian fusion gastronomic experience, also known as Nikkei cuisine, based on fish, seafood and Oriental flavors. A la carte dining.*

3) PRIVATE COOKING CLASS & LUNCH: it all starts with a visit to the Surquillo (Farmers) Market, followed by a 35+ fruit tasting and a 4-course lunch. During the hands-on cooking class you will learn the secrets to master Peru’s 3 most iconic dishes: “causa”, “ceviche” and “lomo saltado”. All complemented by a delicious pisco sour welcome drink, unlimited water and homemade passion fruit juice.*

4) LUNCH AT ISOLINA: one of Lima’s most popular every day eateries for locals, a tavern that offers generous portions of grandma’s recipes. Family-style dining (shared).*

5) DINNER AT HOU WHA: a classic “chifa” where you can enjoy the unique and world-famous Chinese-Peruvian cuisine. Family-style dining (shared).*

6) SNACK STOP AT PICARONES MARY: one of Lima’s most popular street food stands, as seen on Netflix’s “Street Food – Latin America”.

7) Guided tour in English of Lima’s OLD TOWN - a World Heritage Site.

8) Guided tour in English and lunch at the magnificent LARCO MUSEUM.
